gobbledonk Posted March 5, 2007 Report Share Posted March 5, 2007 Hi Coss, The advice I am about to give you may sound pretty tragic to a lot of the Aussies, but I'd really advise against wandering around the Valley after about 10pm - its an increasingly violent place. 'OK, so what nightlife hub isn't', I hear you say. The point is that its a lot more random than it ever was, and I put a lot of it down to Ice and fucked up amphetamine users. That said, its always been pretty sleazy. If you want action in Brissie, I'd have to suggest a scan of the yellow pages. Sure, a hansum man might go to a club and pickup, but you are just as likely to be attacked by 3 or 4 psychos as you leave (many of them have the term 'Bouncer' on their resume ...). There are several legal brothels at Bowen Hills (next to the Valley), but I dont know how much you'd save on the cost of having an escort come to your hotel room.
