I am much older, fatter and less handsome now...oh how my trophy boy good looks have faded...but none the less, it was an interesting time, and one I don't wish to repeat. Hopefully that commercial has been forgotten. p.s. I really was hansum man back then. Only I was thoroughly sh*tfaced on French wine by the time we finished the thing. These two young guys had convinced their producer to do a story on cosmetic holidays in LOS. This guy was getting braces fitted for a story. Monthly adjustments. Nice work I told him. He shot videoes all day of us riding the ATV's and did the photo work for his brochures and website. So if your on Samui pick up one of these brochures and check it out. Me and a couple friends from about 2 years back and they are still used today, and can be found everywhere on the island.. YimSiam Posted March 17, 2007 Report Share Posted March 17, 2007 Now, it wasn't me this time, but I was interviewed on ABC (the australian one) a couple years ago, related to work - and indeed, for a few days people in Bangkok stopped me to say they'd seen me on TV - and that it looked like it was really hot that day... Apparently, I had a bit of the farang sweat rings going after being out in the sun all day with no AC, shirt soaked through -- the lesson from my fifteen minutes of fame is this: always keep a clean and dry shirt handy... Unfortunately I was fully dressed in a cocktail party crowd scene. My mate owned the apartment it was filmed in and I rummaged around for something to drink finding two bottles of Pinot Noir, a relatively new variety for Australia at the time. I cracked both and found some glasses and it turned out they belonged to the American film director, a gift from one of the better wineries, who chucked a real wobbly when I had the decency to offer him a glass.
