I don't know much about this stuff, but I always thought that 'pure Thais' had shorter names. Fuck it, just call her Noi, that usually works. Chinese-Thais who want a Thai sounding family name cannot chose one that someone is already using, so they come up with often ridiculously long ones - Wanichpanichturakij or whatever.
