racha
zoot, I would think after if he does time in Thailand, he will then get deported and still have to go to court in the USA and do his time there as well .How much time he does here before he gets deported depends on the pressure the USA government puts on the Thai government.I have got a feeling this guy will not be getting out except in a box as to be on the FBI'S 10 most wanted list they want him put away for good. los
Any possibility of the recent nightlife crackdown being connected with the arrival of FBI agents into Bangkok the last couple of weeks? Just a hunch.
pattaya127
quote: The guy lived here for years and was quite well known. He played the piano in the Bamboo Bar at the Oriental Hotel, among other things, and I've probably seen the guy there. He's reportedly a very talented musician and kept his secret life pretty well hidden. When he was exposed for what he was, a lot of folks in Bangkok were shocked and embarassed. He travelled in high society.[/QB] And they blame us poor tourists for all the wrongs in Thailand....
Guest
The last 2 "big" criminal arrest stories I have read on this board are the boiler room stock operators and this kiddie porn creep. In both cases it was mentioned that the F.B.I was involved in the investigations and arrest. Can't the Thai cops ever get anybody on their own? OR..is it that the F.B. I. dosent take bribes? Guest
Rosser had been featured on the US TV show 'America's Most Wanted'. The next program (Sat,25Aug01,FOX Network) will no doubt have a story on his arrest. They also will have the story on their website: www.amw.com
Guest
I just checked the 'America's Most Wanted' (TV Show) website and there are details of Rosser's arrest in BKK. It seems a lady tipster will qualify for the US$50.000 reward for notifying the US Embassy after recognizing him from the tv stories. http://www.amw.com/
