FBI arrested American paedophile in Bangkok

Hi,

The Dutroux case was very big in Europe a couple of years back.

Rumour has it that one of the fathers asked that Dutroux not be sentenced, instead the father wanted 5 minutes alone with him in a locked room. Judge should have granted this.

No punishment is great enough for scum (the word people does not apply here) like this.

Sanuk!

I read recently that after 5 years the Dutroux case has still not come to court...perhaps a case of the powers that be making sure the wheels of justice turn slowly while they cover their backs.

Lets not forget there are many more cunts like Rosser in Thailand, and when it is relatively easy to find under age girls working in go-go bars let alone a little further underground it is hardly suprising. mad.gif" border="0mad.gif" border="0mad.gif" border="0

If any of you guys in the US see this programme could you please post a report of what is said, ie. was he seen in any Bangkok bars? How many people called with sightings of him in Bangkok? etc. We probably won't get the show here for a while and I would be very interested to hear what is said, I will tell you why in due course.

Regards

Roger

There are one or two naieve opinions on this thread, although genuinely well meant i am sure.

Firstly, this man will not be dealt with by the Thai cops or in Thailand for a very good reason. For those that do not know, Eric Rosser was not only a pianist at the Oriental Hotel but he also had about 6 upmarket private music schools where the kids of the extremely rich and powerful 100 or so ruling families in Thailand were taught music. Some probably had private tuition(no joke meant there). You can be absolutely sure that this issue will not be dealt with in Thailand in order to preserve the anonymity of the kids who were taught by him and the names of the families.

Secondly, you can be fairly sure the Thai police knew where he was. Arresting him as he arrives at the airport does not get one the $50,000 dollars for finding him that a few senior police are now pocketing. Just a thought.....

Farangs really do not need this sort of publicity at the moment and I agree with all posters who have emphasized good riddance to this piece of shit.

5 or 10 years ago, their was a big Interpol operation that shut down the top kiddie porn producer, who happened to be based in Bangkok. This guy (a Chinese-Thai, if I remember right) provided a large share of the kiddie porn of the world. Supposedly, his pics were easily recognisable -- same style and the same seedy ST hotel rooms. I saw some of it posted on the Internet once --kids about 12 or 13 shagging each other and looking rather bored. They were all slum kids and apparently appreciated the big money (to them) they were offered.

Since then, the Thai police have been keeping more of an eye out for this stuff. Even in Bangkok buses you may see posters showing a perv (Thai, not Farang) being offered underage girls. In the next cartoon, he walks through the doorway ... to find himself locked in a prison cell. Since it's all in Thai, it is for local consumption -- not tourists.

The biggest problem, however, is the gay child molestors. Traditional Thai views are that sex with little girls is abnormal and terrible. But the attitude doesn't seem to be the same with boys. (When girls SIA DTUA -- lose their virginity -- it is a bad thing; boys are seemingly immune to such "degrading".) It took pressure from the German police to get the Thai cops in Pattaya to go after a notorious German perv. The reason? He was having sex with underage boys, not girls.

p.s. The Reuters (I think) report in today's papers specifies that Thailand has indeed cracked down on kidde pervs, which has driven most of them to Cambodia. It also adds that Sri Lanka is finally acknowledging that it is the prefered country for kiddie pervs. (Isn't that where the recently knighted Sir Arthur Clark got into trouble a few years ago?)

Land o scams,

I didn't see that bit and you may be right. However, this is Thailand and deals can be done......

I get the impression watching his pathetic performance on TV that he may have in some way been trying to get caught. Couldn't take any more of life on the run etc He certainly looked spooked.

Just a quick reminder to those board members in the States. If anyone watches the "Americas Most Wanted" today, please post a report of what was said. Would like to know when he was first spotted and how many calls the FBI recieved in Bangkok.

Cheers

Nothing on AMW regarding Rosser last night. Maybe they want to send John Walsh to LOS for a location report to be aired on a future show. Hmmm, John Walsh in Bangkok.
