I watched Finland-Sweden Euro Hockey tour game today and what I saw didn't confirm me to bet any money for those two teams to be ready to challenge Canada, Checks and Russia. Finland and Sweden suck big time at the moment. Ofcourse a lot depends on which NHL stars teams are able to get to play in WC tournament.

3 days, 7 hours to the opening game :)

Not only the medals will have a retro look. For the first time in the history of the IIHF World Championship, teams will appear in retro jerseys in Canada. This as a tribute to the 100 Year Anniversary of the IIHF.

agree, but this circumstance you can see on every sport tournament.

And not to forget that teams like Germany brings a lot of money and fans to a tournament.

This was also the reason to make the World Cup A bigger.

Watched two games tonight on TV incl. a victory of my speedy young Swiss team.

And i like to see the teams playing in Retro Shirts for the 100 Birthday of the IIHF.

:)
