zanemay
I am a bit confused about soapy massage parlors. One of our most active board members goes to big places like Sabaidee and Sabialand in Pattaya. Aren't these places in the heart of the Japanese tourist area and don't they cater to bus loads of tourists at one time? Wouldn't this make them the most industrial / impersonal kind of places? Can you get quality service from a girl who services Japanese tours? I have been to Annies in BKK. I liked it very well for what it was. A bit expensive for an hour or two, but definitely something to be experienced. When I read of 600 baht paid to the house and 1,000 baht tip to the girl in Pattaya I am also surprised. Pattaya should be relatively inexpensive. Is this all correct? If so, as I said, I am confused.
Old Hippie
I've been to both those places in Pattaya, and agree, they are a bit impersonnal at first, once you get in the room however, it's pretty much the same. I am also a die hard Annies fan! I find it smaller, and more personnal. I also like that the mamason or pappason (if you go before 5) can pretty accurately list the sevice specialties of each girl, and can assist in selecting the proper girl or girls for your desired entertainment. Prices may seem high at first, but concider the whole picture. You go to a bar, buy a few drinks, pay the bar fine, pay the girl, maybe buy her a meal or something, then the price is all about the same or higher. I've never seen bus loads of Japanese, or any other group pull up to one of these places, however, I have seen some of them quite crowded. Speaking of Annies, anybody know how the guy made out who jumped through the glass into the "fishbowl?" He claimed he'd come back to pay for it, then took off, bleeding like a stuck pig. Guest
I too have frequented the Pattaya soapies and a few in Bkk. I am no all that sensitive about prices so a few hundred more baht for a shag doesn't bother me. At one time, I had a favorite in Sabairoom who was really into other girls. She created some fireworks on a few occasions that I doubled up with her and another of the resident massage specialists. Oh the fun we had! The soapie experience is impersonal. That bothers some, not me. There are times when the physical sensations are all I need and the soapies satisfy the urge perfectly.
Ranger
Zane, Yes, I admit that I frequent the big massage parlors in BKK and Pattaya. But, I only go when I am showing a newbie around or hanging out with a return visitor who wants to go there . I must have better luck than most, because I have had some fantastic experiences at some of the soapy places that were far from "impersonal". Maybe the novelty of me being a very white skinned Farang gets me better service as these places do cater to a mostly Asian clientele? Yes, it's a tad on the expensive side too, but in BKK all I can do is ST and if you add up barfine, ST hotel, and payment to the girl, it comes to about the same amount of Baht. I don't actually partake that much in Pattaya as I can enjoy the LT experience when I am there . Ranger
coops
Snow White is a good not too large one, the bigger ones are ok too - such as the Chao Praya chain (numbers 1, 2, 3). I think these places are perfect for recovering from shopping, golfing or whatever in the afternoon or earlyish evening. I'd also recommend finding a girl you like, then returning on a reasonably regular basis (!) and requesting her every time (she won't appreciate seeing you take off someone else, so just have a handful of different parlours you know and like). You'll find she'll be very pleased and very very friendly. For instance, one lovely girl first time was great but BJ with condom -ok. Subsequently was no condoms for BJ and what's more, she was the most enthusiastic and best at bj's that I've ever met. Enjoy...
Guest
The advantage of the big parlors is a larger selection of girls and higher quality amenities (bar/restaurant, room, tub, etc.). The challenge is not getting overcharged. My first large parlor was Mona Lisa. I always had a great time but was always over charged. I've not been back in the past 2 years. Most of the girls don't speak English so it is difficult to communicate, although I've enjoyed sitting at a table talking with the papasan while having a drink with my girl before or after. I agree with the repeat business. It's frequently more fun the 2nd or 3rd time with the same girl. You are past the introductory phase, which can be awkward, and she now knows what you like and don't like. As already posted, once you get in the room it's just the 2 (or 3) of you. Guest
Yes. Often, it is nice to keep chicks out of your place and into your soapy room. Pay a bit more. Have a wide selection at hand, and a clean place to go. Plus, while you are looking/selecting, they can't get at you to hassle you, because you are on the other side of the glass! I love soapies...Not every time; but, they certainly have a significant place in my life. PS--some of them have extraordinary bathing talents, too. Guest
PPS--Those aren't Japanese tourists at Sabai Dee. They are Chinese. And, there really aren't too many of them buggers.

Guest
Here is some info on Snow White from Nanapong. Snow White is located at Somdet Phra Pin Klao Road, Soi 5 (also known as Soi Suwichai Damri). Soi 7 with a sign to the Police Station is right next to Soi 5. Somdet Phra Pin Klao Soi 5 (and 7) is approximately 100 yards from the Pin Klao Ferry Pier. Mahidol University's Administration Office is next to the pier in the background as another landmark. Phone no: 435-3523 Comments: Snow White is about 50 yards into Soi 5. As this soi is relatively quiet, you cannot really miss the place and its shimmering yellow and green neon signs (in Thai only) at night. The place has a mid-size bowl with about 40-50 girls. Cost is 1,300-1,500 baht. Sideline girls sitting opposite the fishbowl cost ~1,800 baht.
