Sheltered hundreds. Heaps more info via google... I just caught a 10 minute story on 60 minutes about her and what she does in Cambodia and am truly amazed. Thought she deserves a plug. FA.... That is one rightious woman. People like this make me realize just how self centered and useless I am. I sent her some money. bust
Went to a seminar once with her speaking. She is like the Christina Noble of Oz. When you see stories like hers and see how much can be done for so many by just one person, it makes you realize that as an individual you can make a difference if you have the passion and focus. And what was the APEC budget.....$330m

Old Hippie
Not sure if true or not, but a waitress in Phnom Penh told me she gets $1 usd a day+ any tips. As for parents disfiguring their kids...similar story, was at Wat Phenom in PP. and some kid came up and asked us for money, maybe 3 years old, just walked up with his hand out. His father was right there. I didn't give anything. A second later, the father slapped the kid, and took his (the kids) pants off, now there was a crying kid with no pants, looked really pathetic. I wanted to punch the father.
