How many hours a week do you work?

Just read this article on BBC

Working week?

One in 8 people are now working more than 48 hours per week.

Big deal, fifty hours per week is the norm in the Middle East and I know people in construction who work 60 or 70 hours. If I moved back to UK, my working week would be around 37 hours.

Thing is, I would get the same amount of work done during a 37 hour working week than I do now during a 50 hour working week. I would just spend less time on websites such as this :smirk:

The general conception that people have of you guys working in the Middle East is that you work long hours while you're there but get substantial leave to compensate, something like the offshore rig workers.

Sixty or seventy hours would have been about right for me when I owned my own retail business.

And NO holidays.
