And Wizzard's "I Wish It Could Be Xmas Every Day" with the stroke-of-genuis cash register chinging at the start. The Killers' one last year was good too, with the singer bloke talking to the hooker at the end and her repeating "Can't do that!" (Reminds me of a few bargirls I've short-timed and attempted to shag up the arse. ) Traditional ones? "In the Bleak Mid Winter" is beautiful. Also very clever, if you study the words. A very lonely and quite bitter (feminist) song written by a sad and angry woman (it was written by Christina Rossetti). Basically f*ck all to do with Xmas, got in under the radar and no one realised what she's really on about.
