Hugh_Hoy
Anybody willing to post the last quoted price for baht gold in BKK. Even better, a site where the price can be monitored on a daily basis. TIA HH
elef
Link That's for 100 % and you'll just get 96.5 % also add around 400 baht for the work

Old Hippie
I think that price in the BKKpost is the price for gold being sold in Thailand/BKK, which is the 96.5 (or is it 7?)%. If you look at the price, you will see it says Bht/bht weight, you then add the work price on to that. Or so I think, might be wrong.
Central Scrutinizer
I've also been told recently upon query that you can buy ingots as well at most gold shops in the LOS, in many different weights. No need to buy jewelry if you are just wanting the gold for speculating. Plus it keeps the wife/GF from claiming it as her own to wear! Old Hippie
Yes, the ingots (unless foreign) are as I recall sold in Bhat weight (15.16grams/bht I think).
vinod
it is almost double in just a matter of 4 to 5 yrs. I remember buying my first 5 bhat chain's at around b5,500 and the last I brought was at 7,000. Looks like I am quite pretty rich, at least not lost money, like the how stock markets went down, lost quite a bit..... in terms of paper value cheers
