Zob, the Toyota Fortuner is called the Toyota Hilux here....

Incorrect statement Teddy. :nono: Fortuner and Hilux are different beasts, even in Dubai. Hilux is a 4wd pick up truck. Fortuner is a 4wd SUV, although it may well be based on a Hilux chassis? :dunno:

Unfortunately for Zob Landies are just waaay too expensive in LOS.

Minor mistake here. Let me clear things. Firstly anyone who buys a "Landy" in Thailand is nuts as you are paying 150% Duty! Lux SUV's get the ultimate wack at customs. Yes that is 1.5 times the saMSr and if you have it tricked out you could see 200% Same Same the Hummer. So if you want Hummer, try behind the 7/11 at Suk Soi See! Khao Jai. Look, the Fortuner is made in Thailand and is the know as the Issan Limo. It is built on a Hi lux frame, suspension, transmission and steering system. As to the rubbish about systems. the Fortuner is NOT limited to 4 wheel drive. You can get a 2 wheel drive in Petrol (Gas) and four wheel in Gas only and deisel! Alot of peoploe like them. I have a friend who drives a Hi Lux 4 door and loves it also. As to Isuzu and for that matter Mitsu they just do make up to the quality of Toyota in Thailand nor will they get the resale value. Have a listen to the Deisel verson of all the and the Toyota is much more quiet. I like the Mitsu style but it seems they just don't last.

From more info on Toyota here is the site for Thailand.

Here is MItsu

I would like to add that I normally consider that FORD stands for Fix Or Repair Daily but those made in Thailand are really good!

I haven't visited the Chevy dealer......

But of course any good Hunter of Nana game will go for the best auto made in Thailand...... And that is what I have driven most of my adult life:

Benz!

Have a look here:

BTW, sorry that I didn't bother to do any of the nifty little markup tags for all these URL's...
