Mentors
Now I'm going to ask a stupid question, but some times a stupid question can be good, is there some transport from Hua Him to Pattaya by passing going back to Bangkok, mybe be a slow boat across the water ? cheapest way; take the Bus from Hua Hin to the new Southern Terminal. Then use the Taxi to the Bus Terminal on Ekkamai, from there take the Bus to Pattaya. Best time is to travel very early in the morning with a bus passing Hua Hin from the South. Then you will be in the morning in Pattaya. Use the official blue withe buses and not the organge ones! Often the orange bus drivers do a race and kick you out somewhere outside Pattaya. Mekong
I have gone across the water from Pattaya to Hua Hin a few times, it does help if your friend owns a Caterman though. Bypass Bangkok (downtown), Fly from HH to Swampypoom then taxi to Pattya.

Mekong
To Quote Mark Twain ...ours is a mongrel language which started with a child's vocabulary of three hundred words, and now consists of two hundred and twenty-five thousand; the whole lot, with the exception of the original and legitimate three hundred, borrowed, stolen, smouched from every unwatched language under the sun, the spelling of each individual word of the lot locating the source of the theft and preserving the memory of the revered crime.
