Singapore Travel for Thai Nationals

(I know local Thai's can get a short term border pass for Cambodia without a passport but not sure about Laos, Malaysia and Burma.)

That was the case before the Thai embassy in Phnom Penh was trashed/burned. When the border was opened up a few weeks later, Thai's were required by Thailand to have a passport to enter the Cambo border areas (such as at Poipet where the casino action attracts a lot of Thais). Has this been changed back to where Thailand doesn't require a passport for Thais?

The ladies usually get a 14 day entry "visa" to Singapore.

Once the 14 days are up, they take the bus across the causeway to Jahor Bahru, Malaysia and then back in to Singapore.

At times, the working ladies are asked to show $$$ when they enter Singapore or an exit air ticket, but not too often.

This was certainly the case a few years back but I was informed by more than one person that 30 days was the entry stamp now.

A favourite I knew of "working" girls was just hiring a taxi to do the trip after a short trip out of country.

As that was so easy, it would make sense to just give them the 30 days.
