MIAMI - The call girl linked to the downfall of former New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer sued the founder of the "Girls Gone Wild" series on Monday for $10 million, claiming he exploited her image and name to advertise the racy videos.

Ashley Alexandra Dupre, 22, contended in the lawsuit that she was only 17 â?? too young to sign legally binding contracts â?? and drunk on spring break in 2003 when she agreed to be filmed for "Girls Gone Wild" in Miami Beach.

Dupre "did not understand the magnitude of her actions, nor that her image and likeness would be displayed in videos and DVDs," says the lawsuit filed by Miami attorney Richard C. Wolfe.

Still trying ...

"It is incomprehensible that Ms. Dupre could claim she did not give her consent to be filmed by Girls Gone Wild, when in fact we have videotape of her giving consent, while showing her identification," Francis said in a statement.

She has had her fifteen minutes of fame ..move along girl..

Its all about money. A smart (or you can say slimy) lawyer will surmise that if GGW is offering 1 million they could give more. 10 mil to start and 1 mil the offer and meet somewhere in the middle, hopefully closer to the 10 mil.

Common tactic with deep pockets. Ask for an outrageous amount, bring media attention and natioal debate, get the defendent to cough up money to keep themselves off the news.

The guy's already been in trouble over photos of underage girls. Looks like this genius was underage too at the time. If she was, this might be a ploy to get him to pay off so she doesn't complain to the law about being exploited. (If you can exploit a teenage nympho who is down shagging her brains out for spring break ...)
