.. Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 She doesn't have a US passport. Just Thai, hence the posted question. Ya, I'd try the Thai-LA consulate ( http://www.thai-la.net ), if you are near there. If not, I think there is one in Chicago ( http://www.thaichicago.net/clate/index.htm ) & of course the main one in DC. Honorary consulates (like the one in Dallas) will not be able to help in this situation. Cheers, SD
Brink15 Posted May 10, 2008 Author Report Posted May 10, 2008 If she is going to fly thru LAX, she might arrive very early, go to the Thai Embassy and then return to the airport. Check with the embassy to see if it is possible. Great idea. I was thinking about making the trip to DC but LA makes a lot more sense. My only concern is whether there is anything that can be done quickly given that her expired passport was already extended once. Maybe there is some kind of emergency, temporary passport that can be issued. I just want to be sure that something can be done in time before she travels to either LA or DC. Thanks again BKKT

Time to google map it out.
