Relegation Round

There is a seldom-used rule that has come into play in Switzerland this year. The country that is the next host of the World Championship cannot be relegated. As a result, Germanyâ??s disappointing performance this year has no bearing on its place next year when Cologne and Mannheim host the top division of play.

last games from today

Denmark - Austria 5:2

Hungary - Germany 1:2

1. DENMARK 9 :relieved:

2. Austria 6 :cussing:

3. GERMANY 3 :mooning:

4. Hungary 0 :dunno:

Nice game today, Finland beat Canada 4-3 after penalty shootout  I started to believe in our young team after a couple of lousy games. Can't win hockey games today with aggressive physical playing only.

Canada is unbeliavably good in powerplay though and Dany Heatley showed he just doesn't miss when he has a chance.

The Swiss played well against USA, too bad they woke up this late, Switzerland is out
