Old Hippie
Anyone have an idea of web sights where I can download Classical Thai and Lao music? I'm to cheap to pay for it...
thai3
As Thai music CD's are 100-190 baht, you must be a real scrooge if not willing to spend so little in support of such great singers and musicians. I suggest listening to the samples on www.thainetcity.com deciding what you like, then buying some CD's when you are there in November. Another site introducing thai music, with clips is www.thaiworldview.com/music/music.htm A trip to buy Thai CD's is so much more fun than downloading MP3's-peter quote: Originally posted by Old hippie: Anyone have an idea of web sights where I can download Classical Thai and Lao music? Old Hippie
I picked a few up while in BKK a couple of weeks back, but I forgot them, and won't be able to pick them up till January or so. Still, I am that cheap I agree, a trip to LOS to buy cd's is far better than downloading them, but till I can get there... Thanks for the tips, I'll give them a try! Flashermac
Reminds me of the days when Thais still knew how to dance (at least those under 60).
The_Munchmaster
Nice video although shame about those pesky subtitles blocking the view!
Flashermac
They are Lao script. I can understand more if I don't try to read them and just listen to the words. Nice little Asian bear in there amongst all the white creatures.
