simie
Not 100% sure myself and I'm sure other members would know more than me? But I always thought you could'nt register property or land in your name in Thailand under the age of 18 or 20? So if thats the case you could'nt register it in your childs name at present? Simie. zzzz
Instead of buying a house through your wife. GF. or a company. there is an option of a 30 yr lease. You just pay for the lease up front like buying. If you buy via your wife. there's no need to buy a second place in case the relationship sours -- what you do is get a 30 yr lease in your name at the time of closing the purhase of the house. Your wife can't throw you out because the house is lease to you.
Fidel
A friend of mine put his house in his son's name. His son was about 3 years old at the time. As far as I know, his wife lost the house in a card game. I guess, since she was recognized as his legal guardian, she was able to do what she liked with the house. She's now woking in a brothel in Singapore, and my mate now has custody of their son.
