theaceofspades
Hi, I will be in LOS again for a month from July 22, BKK 22/07 - 27/07, Pattaya 27/07 - 03/08 then Chiang Mai 04/08 - ??? & Whilst the West Coast Eagles aren't travelling particularly well this season I am still keen to keep the dream alive & watch the footy. Does anyone know of any BKK bars other than The Bustop which telecast AFL football? Also if anyone knows of any bars in Pattaya & Chiang Mai which show AFL footy? Cheers
MooNoi
Spades.. Its hard in BKK. Because UBC doesn't have the Australia Network, I am not sure of a pub which shows it. Sure there is though. Only place I know is Bus Stop in Soi 4. Pattaya... well, the local cable TV channel carries Australia Network, so 99% of hotels in Pattaya will have it in your room. So buy a six-pack and watch in the comfort of your abode. All the pubs in Pattaya seem to have the Australia Network too, so you could ask one of them to turn it on for you. Go Demons! Julian2
That's what you have to look for, a place with an Aussie owner. Even if he's a League supporter the same channel gives you the AFL.
