DocThai
I actually checked this place out. The standard room has to be the smallest I have ever seen. If you fell out of bed on either side the wall would catch your fall 5555 Too bad because location is perfect
USVirgin
Thanks. Sounds like a good deal even if it is a bit out of the way... Not really out of the way at all, unless the guest is unable to walk. It's only about a 5 minute walk up Soi 18 to Suk, then you're practically at Cowboy. As mentioned, they have a tuk-tuk service for the disabled or those traveling with lazy girls in high heels. I can't think of a better value in that area and price range. They don't have amenities such as a swimming pool, but having a nice little bar like Toxic is a big bonus for a place like that.
thaihoteldiscounts
Hotels in the sub 1800 Baht price are old, dirty and not service orientated. We are so pleased to offer the Darjeeling Boutique hotel at a fantastic price for this new hotel. Located in Suk Soi 18, not far from the main road and offers nice accomodation. Start from only 1,600 Baht per night inc breakfast. Near to Sukhumvit road and Asoke/Soi Cowboy.

[/quote'] Are we talking soi 18 or in general? Barry, I was speaking generally about the hotel situation in Bangkok at this time. If you or another board member know of any hotels that are new and under 1800 Baht/night, would love to know. Tim
