Bangkoktraveler
I knew a gal who got sent to prison for being found with 3 marijuana cigarettes in her purse. That's right ... THREE for her own use. I know of one that went to jail for having one marijuana cig. Now if you kill somebody, you might serve no time in jail. USVirgin
My big brother once got busted for smoking a joint on somebody's front lawn. He didn't realize that lawn was patrolled by secret service as it belonged to governor Ronald Reagan.

Old Hippie
I was maybe 16 or so, and my foster brother and I were smoking a joint in Alamo square. The cops came by and told us to go home, no big deal back then. Maybe it was the foolishness of youth, but I really thought the world would be a cooler place by now, weed would;d be legal, and there'd be less bullshit... Flashermac
Where? Santa Barbara County, California. The gal was a university student, the judge very right wing. I think he gave her 5 years! That was years ago though. California is much more lenient now.

Let's reformulate: Has any of your friends be imprisonned ? USVirgin, big Lol at your brother

One more sign that society is totally fucked up is one might be sent to jail if he murders or even merely tortures a government official, whereas it should be considered healthy fun.
