Palatkik
Anyone used this place to fix a laptop before? How long do they want to keep the device for. I have a 14 month HP laptop (so 2 months over warranty) and the BIOS clock has stopped. I already switched the battery with no luck. Can these things be fixed faster at Pantip? I don't know much about it but guess the motherboard has to be changed or repaired??
zen4dummies
A friend had bought an HP laptop in Canada and brought it to Thailand. A drink got spilled into the keyboard and several keys could not be used. We took it to the HP shop on Rama 4 and HP said this laptop is not sold in Thailand but we will fix it anyway. They did not have the part needed in stock so they flew it in. The whole thing took 3 or 4 working days and there was no charge whatsoever. I have always bought Dells but the above caused me to buy an HP when I bought a laptop for my girlfriend and when I get a new computer it will be an HP. Dell is somewhat difficult to deal with in Thailand.
Mekong
Agree with Zen4, IMHO HP is the best aftersales service of all the PC companies in Thailand, service is second to non.
Paillote
I second that. My HP laptop was repaired in two days at Rama 4 service centre. Excellent! Paillote
