Faustian Posted September 5, 2008 Report Share Posted September 5, 2008 The guys that unlock the iPhone are a bunch of serious coders and really do try to get it right. Their work (pwnage tool) is available online and openly distributed (and updated regularly), but Apple are always changing things to break it...plus applications you can buy for the iPhone, of which there are now hundreds, often get broken by pwnage tool as well. So sure it is unlocked, but updating it and/or using 3rd party applications is a potential nightmare. It is a wonderful phone though. I'm not sure I'll unlock mine, as it is tied into O2 in the UK. I love how feather touch sensitive the touch screen is....my viewty requires serious pressure to the screen to type out SMS. Even with my massive fingers the qwerty keyboard on the iPhone is a joy to use and I'm now super fast with it. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
