I am afraid you are confusing what you Americans do when you play that bastardised version of Rugby, that 'American football' with what us Brits DONT do when we play 'real football'

Of course "gayness" was invented in America, in civilised countries a bit of poofiness may be seen here or there but they don't march in the streets. (OK they do in Sydney but Sydney is hardly a normal example).

 

Football. of course, only means one thing and there is no kissing, bum sniffing or arse patting goes on in that.
