tartempion
A place named Berlin has good German food at 230B: salad with nice sour sauce, cream soup, main dish (had small cut pork - gesneseltes sp? with mushroom and thick sauce, ice cream or coffe. Where beach road traffic turns left just before Walking street, first place on the left, next to jewellery shop on the corner, indoors airco. Found an excellent Italian restaurant in soi Post office, left side way up from beach road, just before Pump Station I think. Indoors airco, had excellent lasagne and seafood pasta. Pizza was not that good. 250 baht each plate.

CTO
Mexican on Green Parrot or Purple Iguana - something like that - in a soi near a mall. You can see the beach front if you get a table outside OK - I don't get there much!
ALHOLK
How about Tequila Reef? I'm not partial to Mexican food myself but a Swedish chef I know who has been living in Pattaya for quite some years has told me that Tequila reef has a better assortment and the quality is equal to the Green Parrot. regards ALHOLK
radioman
For Italian in Pattaya how about Don Joe's right in the middle of walking street, sea front side. Indoor with aircon or sit outside on the patio overlooking the bay. Have found many TG's enjoy Italian and this place always seems to score highly. Apparently even the Thai food is good too if you have a less than adventurous partner.
