Would Anyone Care to Interpret These Lyrics For Me?

Just listening to some old music. I never cared about lyrics when I was young as opposed to lead guitar, thus I liked bands such as the early Scorpions and what Ritchie Blackmore was up to at the time, which was Rainbow. I think my generation was confused by unintelligible unimportant lyrics.

I had this album, and was just listening to it and can't make any sense out of this good song at all. Can someone please clue me in?

Rainbow - Man on the Silver Mountain

I'm a wheel, I'm a wheel

I can roll, I can feel

And you can't stop me turning

'Cause I'm the sun, I'm the sun

I can move, I can run

But you'll never stop me burning

[color:red]Come down with fire

Lift my spirit higher[/color]

Someone's screaming my name

Come and make me holy again

I'm the man on the silver mountain

I'm the man on the silver mountain

I'm the day, I'm the day

I can show you the way

And look I'm right beside you

I'm the night, I'm the night

I'm the dark and the light

With eyes that see inside you

Just look at me and listen

I'm the man, the man, give you my hand

Come down with fire

Lift my spirit higher

I'm the man on the silver mountain

I'm the man on the silver mountain

I'm the night the light

The black and the white

The man on the silver mountain

Try this one...

China Cat Sun Flower-Grateful Dead

Look for a while at the china cat sunflower,

Proud walking jingle in the midnight sun.

Copperdome bodhi drip a silver kimono,

Like a crazy quilt stargown through a dream night wind.

Crazy cat peekin through a lace bandanna,

Like a one-eyed cheshire, like a diamond-eye jack.

A leaf of all colors plays a golden-string fiddle,

To a double-e waterfall over my back.

Comic book colors on a violin river cryin leonardo,

Words from out a silk trombone.

I rang a silent bell, beneath a shower of pearls,

In the eagle-winged palace of the queen chinee.

I have "travel far and wide" with this band, and I get it...er sort of...

It all started here.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river,

With tangerine trees and marmalade skies

Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly,

A girl with kaleidoscope eyes.

Or even earlier.

A-Wop-bop-a-loo-lop a-lop-bam-boo

Tutti Frutti, all over rootie,.....

A-wop-bop-a-loo-lop a-lop bam boo

Why? What could be easier to understand than this?

Well I turned around and I said "Oh, oh" Oh

Well I turned around and I said "Oh, oh" Oh

Well I turned around and I said "Ho, Ho"

And the northern lights commenced to glow

And she said, with a tear in her eye

"Watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow"

"Watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow"
