Flashermac
THE NATION 8 Apr 2009 Red Shits criticise reporters with being biased Red Shirt protesters spitted on a TV reporter who said in a live broadcast that tens of thousands of protesters have joined the pro-Thaksin mass rally. The Red Shirts surrounded the reporter and Channel 3's mobile broadcast unit. They insisted the number of the protesters has already surpassed 100,000. Some threw water and bottles at the team, while others criticised the reporter of taking the side of the government. Concerned for their safety, the team entered the mobile unit. The Red Shirts then demanded the mobile unit and the team leave the area. Police intervened and asked the Channel 3 team and other reporters to move. They did so, but the Red Shirts followed them and spitted at them again. The reporters finally took refuge in a temple nearby, where spitting is not allowed.
