Dubai is heaving with Indian people and the blokes all wear the same shoes! Different styles perhaps but the design is fundamentally always the same, i.e., big thick wide heels, very thick soles and really wide toes. They look fecking ridiculous on them! In fact they look so big and heavy that I'm surprised some of these spindly little guys can lift their feet off the ground! So why do they all wear them? Does the Indian government issue all it's male citizen with a couple of pairs of shoes before they go overseas? Do all Indians buy their shoes from the same shop? Do they have religious significance? Are they just trying to make themselves look taller? On second thoughts they probably don't wear these shoes to make themselves look taller coz if they wanted to do that they'd just get some shoes like this fellow is wearing!!
