Mentors you are full of SHIT .... 2009 was clean. I was there in the first lines. The military showed extreme restrained and virtually no violence on Din Daeng!!! Have the guts to go out yourself and you know who is shooting who!

Anyway here are some pictures I took:

I will upload a number for Khun Sanuk as well as soon as I find out how it works.

-> if you mean posting them here.

Simple:

Either, if taking part to a current thread -> just select switch to full reply, then you have "manage files" appearing below the box where you type the text. (to use manage files -> select browse -> find where you put the files on your HD -> select the file and ADD -> repeat, until you reach the max number then click on "finish")

You can post 5 pictures/per post, there is a max size though.

Other way: Edit one of your post and the "manage files" link is displayed.

Drogon, if I read you correctly, one of the most devoutly Catholic nations on Earth (who else could come up with the Inquisition ?) doesnt schedule a public holiday for Easter Monday ? Is this a recent development ?

Back to the topic - Waerth has voiced my own fear : that the red shirts will simply regroup after Songkran and disrupt life in BKK again.

Only this time the Bangkokians will show no restraint in going after them if they try again. At Petchaburi soi 5 and soi 7 there was an armed mob of locals protecting the entrance to their soi. I saw armed mobs at other places as well protecting themselves.

You really do not want to be wearing a red shirt in some areas in Bangkok at this moment. You will probably get lynched on the spot!

GD: In Madrid (communidad de Madrid) Monday was not holiday -> while in some other provinces Monday was holiday....

But in Madrid, Thursday and Friday were holidays while in other parts of the country they were not...

Clear for you? :neener:

This is why Spain is such a mess when it comes to holidays...holidays can vary from province to province, town to town and sometimes from "barrio" to "barrio" (parts of town).....

Mind you, I have been working my ass Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday thanks to the US office....(ok ok, got paid x times more to make up for the inconvenience)

As a sidenote: the Catholic Church remains very powerful here but also don't forget that:

. The government is currently socialist

. Spain has been ahead in Europe for a few things such as gay marriage etc...

Spain is changing....not fast enough for my tastes...too many old fascists, old Church addicts, too many young uneducated racists + now with their big crisis.....it doesn't get any better (never thought my best friends in a foreign city would be Scandinavians and Brits...)

Warrants for Thai protest leaders

Thai authorities have issued arrest warrants for 13 protest leaders and the man the protesters support, former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra.

A police spokesman said the group had been charged with inciting a public disturbance and illegal assembly.

The protests have shut down large parts of the capital, Bangkok, for the last three weeks.

Clashes on Monday left two people dead and dozens of others hurt. On Tuesday the protesters called off their action.

Their decision came after the army hemmed in the several thousand activists around Government House overnight.

More soldiers then moved in, prompting the protest leaders to call on their followers to go home to avoid further bloodshed.

The protesters say the current government under Prime Minster Abhisit Vejjajiva is illegal. They want him to step down and fresh elections to be held.
