Hugh_Hoy
Got this in my emai in-box today. Thought it might refresh some memories (especially for some "merkans", as LBJ used to call us). http://objflicks.com/TakeMeBackToTheSixties.htm HH
cavanami
...didn't see a mention about Pres. Kennedy being killed in the presentation?
USVirgin
The assassination was mentioned, along with a couple of others. I thought it was an excellent production, although I'm a few years too young to really appreciate it. Seeing that Walmart has been around since then really pissed me off! Bangkoktraveler
I remember those 15 cent hamburgers. Vanilla milk shakes didn't cost much either.
USVirgin
I remember when McDonalds fries tasted good and it was a treat for me to go there. Now the food's crappier and generations of kids were raised to eat there more than they did at home. Evidence can be seen from the customers in the US. Is the same generally true in LOS? Sorry, my experience is limited to the Mickey Dees on Patpong 1 in the wee hours.
Flashermac
Don't remember if it was McDungald's, but some place also had 10 hamburgers for a dollar. They were little ones and we'd buy a bag for our dogs, who just loved them. They were sort of like the Crystals even today. p.s. I weren't no merkin!
