Patella
Is Jose Cuervo or similar available in BKK groceries? Approximate price per bottle?
Flashermac
Four or five brands of tequila are available here. The price is maybe in the 600-700 baht range. I've never bought it in Bangkok, so I can't be more accurate than that. I'll try to remember to look next time I'm in a big grocery. Most of the gogo bars have some brand of tequila. A few of the BGs have discovered they love the stuff. (I like it, but would rather spend my money on gin or scotch.)
..
Cuervo Gold is ~B1200/70cl bottle. Readily available. Anyone know where I can buy Patron in BKK? Cheers, SD
Sakai
Once saw more than 15 different tequilas at villa near soi 33. Never saw patron tequ though. Want me to try to find one here and bring it to you? Don't think it is easily found back here though.
..
Yup, but pretty much all mediocre at best. As far as bringing a bottle of Patrón Añejo (or Milagro Select Barrel Reserve Reposado -- even better, but cheaper IMHO) I won't say no! Thanks. Patrón must be available in LoS as Coyote serves it, but I can't find it retail anyway. Cheers, SD
Sakai
Will look at the big wine and spirits duty free store at the airport. Why didn't you ask to coyote's manager where he bought his bottles?
Sakai
Correction, found a shop (damn this tequila is hard to find here). Tequila 100% Agave Silver Patrón Botella 70 cl. Tequila 100% Agave Reposado Patrón Botella 70 cl. Tequila 100% Agave Añejo Patrón Botella 70 cl. About the Milagro Select Barrel Reserve Reposado? Is it from Mexico? ..
Yes, Milagro is Mexican and sold at least in Germany. Cheers, SD
Sakai
Are you sure this is the correct name? Will go buy your Agave Añejo Patrón but this is a liquor shop specialized in liquors/spirits from Mexico only.
