Sakai
Is this a joke? As much as I do love a goo whisky or a good vodka, tequila to me always tasted the same depending on the degree of alcohol
..
Are you sure this is the correct name? Will go buy your Agave Añejo Patrón but this is a liquor shop specialized in liquors/spirits from Mexico only. Yup, correct name. Not so popular, so that's likely why they don't have it. Maracame Añejo is another good choice. Cheers, SD
HeartThais
I like Patron but Don Julio all the way. Don Julio "1942" is fantastic. If price is no concern, Don Julio Real.
Coss
To quote a British comedian; "Tequila is not really a drink, it's just a way to get the Police around without having to make a phone call..." Cheers Coss
CTO
Is this a joke? As much as I do love a goo whisky or a good vodka, tequila to me always tasted the same depending on the degree of alcohol I'd agree - most taste like metho - until I met up with a Mexican and we wondered into no name bar were I learned that real tequila is not a bad drink! Sakai
Tequila is not a bad drink at all but compared to some good vodkas and whiskies I found I tasted no real difference between various tequilas. Just me maybe
Partyguy
most people have had a bad experience with poor cheap tequila and it scares them off of it for good.. No. 1 selling cocktail in USA is the Margherita try and pick up a bottle of Jose Cuervo Reserva de la Familia www.tequilasource.com/cuervoreserva check out the website for some back knowledge, I sell about 20 different tequila at one of my bars, although it is not the most expensive it is one of my favorites, I sell it for $21/oz.
