Not so many years ago a Brit in his 60s married a BG, bought a condo and a car in her name, and put her name on his bank account. He returned home on a visit. When he came back a few weeks later, he found she had sold the condo, sold the car and emptied his bank account of all but 6,000 baht. Wonder why she left the 6,000 baht. The court said there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it, since he'd put her name on everything. She had the legal right to take him to the cleaners.
