"Big Hollywood star" kills himself in Bangkok

I am almost positive that hotel used to be the Hotel Hilton International. The hotel changed hands when they opened the new Hotel Hilton International on the other side of the river.

You are right. It was the Hilton Hotel in the Park. I liked it very much (and one of the female staff ... sigh). Many hotels are locally owned, but are managed by an international chain. The original Sheraton is almost opposite the end of Patpong. The Sofitel Central was the Hyatt Central in the 1980s. I used to know every hotel and their GMs, F&B and PR staff. That was 20 years ago. Bangkok went on a hotel building spree in the 1990s, and now there are just too damned many for them all to make money!

Depends on the 'safe word' if the safe word is similar to the one in the movie Eurotrips then I understand why he is dead.

:cover:

Either an assisted suicide or a bondage SM game gone too far. (being fully bound is not unusual)

:dunno:

Star dead after sex game gone wrong?

"Kill Bill" actor David Carradine may have died during a sex game that went wrong, Thai and US media reported Friday.

He was discovered by a housekeeper, half naked and hanged.

[color:red]The star's close friend, attorney Vicki Roberts, and his manager Chuck Binder, insisted that he died of natural causes.[/color]

:doah:

The media reported that Carradine may have died attempting auto-erotic asphyxiation - where victims achieve heightened sexual pleasure by restricting their air supply.

The speculation is based on a Thai police report saying, "A rope was attached to his neck and also to his penis".

There was no suicide note and an unnamed officer claimed the death may have been an attempt at auto-eroticism.

The circumstances are similar to those surrounding the unexplained death of Michael Hutchence, the INXS singer who was found hanged in a Sydney hotel room in 1997.
