ThaiHome
Agreed, that was actually my point. When we closed on our condo 5 years ago, the developer’s agent took care of the whole process. We spent an hour or so at the land dept. The developer is a large publicity listed company and the agent the Thailand branch of a well known international company (who still manage the condo and do an excellent job it). I saw no need to get a third party. All the docs were translated into English for me (even though registered in wife’s name) and since I can read I didn’t get anyone to help. Different when we earlier bought a used townhouse direct from owner and registered it in a suburban land dept office. We had someone who used to work in the office help us with that.
