Hamokhamok
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. I'm getting the above Alert message every minute. I use Firefox. I suspect it started sometime ago when I updated Firefox. Its annoying and needs to be ok'd evertime. Anyone else with a similar problem or better still a way of getting rid of it. I've searched the net for a solution and have done some of the things suggested but with no avail. Any suggestions. Thanks.
Faustian
What are you using to connect with? ADSL? Wifi? And where in the world are you? I get the same message sometimes. It can be the webpage I'm trying to access. Their server could be timing out.
Hamokhamok
Hi, I'm in Ireland. I use ADSL. As I said I use Firefox which I suspect caused the problem in the first place. I may be doing something totally away from the internet and the messages still appear. I continuously get the cursed message.
zzzz
...I suspect it started sometime ago when I updated Firefox.... Did you try the restore funtion to restore the PC to the state it was in just before the update? If you can't restore, maybe you can try reinstalling Firefox -- if the problem is Firefox, that is. TroyinEwa/Perv
Maybe I'm stating the obvious but if FF is the problem, stop using it, use a different browser. If the computer stops giving you the alert, voila!
kamui
Currently the fastest browser seems to be Google Chrome.

TroyinEwa/Perv
Understood. Can you update FF or if no update is available, remove it and then reinstall it?
Hamokhamok
I tried removing it and reloading but no change. Perhaps I should do it again and do a full clean out and then reload.
