Knowing a bit where you are, it would work for you. I wear a light cotton sarong and nothing else, most of the day I am at home. No one else but the Mrs, who doesn't mind. Airflow aplenty. In Isan of course it is perfectly acceptable to wear a cotton wrap around as a guy when you're at home, as long as it is the right colour and pattern. Your mrs can help you out choosing it.
