dave32
Just watched on the Travel Channel an episode of "Man Vs. Food," which took place in S.F. at Ike's Place in Casatro and the San Francisco Creamery just across the bridge in Oakland. Anyone ever eat at either of these resturants (and have the "kitchen Sink" at the S.F. Creamery)? Haven't been to Ike's. I don't think so anyway. Lived in North Beach for about 6 months '98-99. Lot of good mom and pop places in the neighborhood from a gaggle of different ethnicities I can recommend if you're ever there. Used to walk over to Chinatown a lot and get Dim Sum on the weekends. Good shit. SF has the best Chinatown I've seen in the US, a lot to offer. Don't know the Castro well, but took a few dates there to walk around and chill. Nice area, never had any problems.
