Tyfon
Is it my imagination or are some bars in Nana engaged in a sound war? The two Hollywood (H. and H. Carousel) are painfully loud. Even with hearing protection I can FEEL the base vibrating my teeth. Bars have always been loud but these two in particular are way over the top and, from last night's experience, I suspect Rainbow X (I can never keep track of the numbers - the ground floor one) is joining the act. Even sitting outside the door of Carousel planning my next move - with earplugs in - was uncomfortable. That's how I ended up at Cowboy last night. I'd love to get hold of a sound level meter and take some readings from a few bars - and perhaps the end of the runway at Swampy for comparison. Flashermac
Nana has always been that way. Complain and the idiot DJ is likely to turn it up louder! Never mind that he is destroying the speakers, he doesn't have to replace them. Just one reason I haven't been to Nana in several years.
Tyfon
It's always been loud, but I feel certain bars are upping the game in the last six months or so.
