Udon Thani

Ladies and Gentlemen I have not seen any information on Udon Thani lately. I have not been there for couple of years and I am planing to take a mate there on about the 3rd January.

Last time I was there there was not Day and Night bar plaza.

Any information please.

Well Farang Alley opposite Charoensri shopping mall is no more. Central bought the area including the hotel and Farang alley is a parking lot for the time being.

 

Night activiy moved to Nutty park and Day & Night, soi Samphan Thamit.

 

The nearby night market near the big screen is a good place to watch candy whilst having some Thai food.

A great rural rural little open bar/brothel/Soi 7 Beer Garden/food hut.

 

Lot's of talent - cheap food - cheap beer - 4 km from Sawang Dan Din

I just hope that the world's unhappiest Irishman managed to sell his bar and get out of Udon. He struck me as a man who would have been happier in Afghanistan.
