CTO
Went to Sakon today on a existing 90 day Non Imm O visa requesting a 60 day extension. Was told yesterday YES arrived today NO 7 days or 1 year - no 1/2/3 month extensions given anymore.
redwood13
I’m really confused by all this! But, what I think is: The OP is in Thailand and is going to Europe a few days from now and return to Thailand mid-December. It sounds as if he is on an extension of stay based on meeting the requirements for retirement and has been for the past 5 years. If this is the case, I’m guessing the visa that got him entry into Thailand was a single entry O visa which he then extended for one year. But the single entry visa is used/dead and he doesn’t realize he can apply for a re-entry permit. However being on an extension of stay you can go to Immigration and apply for a re-entry permit to keep the extension of stay valid until the current “admitted until†date as stamped in the passport. -- 1000 baht and a photo. -redwood
