TroyinEwa/Perv
Glad to hear it worked out.....I have read signs at DM before that read minor children are exempt from the fines. Don't know about just getting a regular visa though. I would think the parent would have to pay for them too but if not, 1900 baht more to spend on something else. Good for her. Hugh_Hoy
I know a Thai family that lives in BKK. Parents had two teenage daughters. First daughter was born in US when the parents were going to grad school there. First daughter has a U.S. passport. Family returns to Thailand. Years later, parents take daughters to BKK airport to board a flight to U.S. to go to university (with visa already acquired, etc.). You can see it coming, no? A bit of a problem with the first daughter: "overstay" of about 14 years. 5555555555 Family got it all worked out without much of a problem other than having to re-book the flight a couple of days later after some "paperwork" and a Thai passport for the first daughter.
