A quick google search shows a couple of studies that indicate that roughly 50-60% of all bankruptcies are due to medical bills.

 

And I can show you a study that says most studies are wrong.

 

 

And the study or survey that checks those is false or wrong. And the survey or study that checks the checker of surveys is wrong.

 

Obviously, some don't have a clue about statistics or primary sources.

 

Personal bankruptcies are recorded in court documents. It doesn't take a degree in rocket science to gather these recorded court documents. And then publish them.
