Some punter came into a bar I was at wearing a red shirt and was hounded out by the staff, who were blaming the reds for the drought. Rightly or wrongly, but there you go. Rightly or wrongly, This is another demonstrarion of the damage being done to the Tourist Industry. Whilst BM's and expats are fully aware to be careful of what colours we wear this was probably some poor unsuspecting punter who has come to Thailand, the Land of Smiles, for the world famous Songkran festival and he is abused because of the colour of the shirt he is wearing.
