Julian2
What revolution has happened that did not involve violence? If I was the PM, I would have been chatting with these folks on day one, keep them chatting, disperse the troops. Abhisit's terrified of them. Suthep and Sanan have him chained to the desk, they haven't finished looting the country yet.
Flashermac
Is that why Somchai didn't break up the airport seizure by force?
shygye
Ummm ... a country that everyone wants to get out of. ... That was also true during the Marcos years!
WorldFun
yes saw nation news reports that red leads stay in 5* star hotels paid by takky, but another report said arrest warrants were only valid if arrested on stage? regardless they'll be out on bail within hours so whats the point anyway just clear the place now with emergency decree active military will have to do the dirty job eventually coz else their marriage of convenience with the PM will be over... Flashermac
Isn't Jatuporn on bail from last year? Most of the others too? Sondhi and Chamlong are still on bail from the airport seizure. Takes forever to get a case to trail here. But if someone on bail is found to have violated the terms, hopefully he ain't getting out again this time around. Still ... this is Amazing Thairand. p.s. Wonder if any of the Red farmers on Silom stopped by Patpong to have a chat with their daughters who work in the gogo bars.
WorldFun
surely the parents stopped by in patpong to see how their lovely little nok did as a waitress in a big city restaurant... but to no avail as nok meanwhile was out at bangrak market to protest about the protesters who she & her gang claimed scared all her bars customers away LOL

Suthep and Sanan have him chained to the desk, they haven't finished looting the country yet. Succinct analysis Julien, one a one to one level, I like Abhisit, but he's surrounded and controlled by people that he can't control and is not dirty enough to control, hence your post is spot on. Khun_Kong
Interesting that the big news on Western news was the bit of uprising in Krgyzfdjlghstan*. Soldiers/police came in, shot 4 dead. Crowd was a bit subdued after that. *if your country has >14 consonants for every vowel, don't expect anybody outside of your borders to be able to say it or spell it!
