gawguy
So...I'm booked for Amsterdam on Tuesday. Right now all flights cancelled. I did make that visa run I asked about in other post and visa is running out. Question: Will Thai immigration give you a break on overstay if you are stuck / delayed because of blanket flight cancellation like this one? Thanks..Gaw Guy
Mekong
I don't think flights will be grounded for that long but if they are you are still required to report to immigration as required in order to avoid being classed as overstay. SpiceMan
I overstayed after September 11 2001 when all flights were canceled due to terrorism. When I was able to fly out, the immigration officer at the airport did not care what my excuse was. I still had to pay the overstay fee.
Flashermac
If the overstay is more than 1900 baht, it's probably cheaper to go to Immigration and just get an extention.

Flashermac
We got a nice shower this morning - woke me up around 5am. Much cooler and pleasanter here and the plants certainly needed it. So no problems on this end. Maybe she'll have to fly to Athens and then go by train.

Bangkoktraveler
Come to Arizona and if you overstay and get caught by the locals, it is an automatic $500.00 fine and some time in jail. Some of the locals might want to drag you for a few miles thru the desert tied to the back of a 4 X $.
