iuytrede
got TOT 3G today (in Bangkok). Works like a charm, on an European aircard. I must chose a promotion: do I need 4 gigabyte/month or is 2.5 GB/month enough? I need 3G for emails, online magazines, web boards, average maybe 2-3 hrs/day. TGF pretty much the same. No file sharing, no downloads of pics or music, no movies from the net. I have no idea how much data this may be. Any ideas? thx
shygye
Youtube, FLASH, and photos really chew through the GBs.

chilli13
good question that's why 'flatrate' internet is so popular - fits everyone if the price is right! however I've just subscribed myself for a 3G flatrate & are waiting to hit the 1GB where according the package the speed/rate *may* be reduced from the regular ~7.2Mbps DL to 64kbps, but price remains the same at unlimited volume though! my mobile phone data counter after some 5 days of *regular surf* has come to some ~40MB... I say 2.5GB is quite a lot, but depending of the price difference and/or additional MB/GB pricing is you may start with the cheaper price & upgrade following months if needed? Or go for True Move unlimited free 3G/HSPA
