Nice to see the TSA is on top of baggage inspections. ;)

A U.S. Airways flight bound for New York City was forced to return to the gate in Atlanta on Monday after maggots fell from a bag inside an overhead luggage bin. The airline says spoiled meat in a suitcase is to blame for the mess.

This is straight from "Yahoo answers" website.----- "Maggots are high in protein, if you had to survive you'd eat them.

It wouldn't be a good idea to eat them straight off some rotten meat though since the meat is what would make you ill. If they were kept in bran and given a day or two to excrete any bad stuff then they wouldn't do you any harm. Mealworms, crickets, tarantula, ants and termites are all edible too!"
