Nervous God
Kids next door, age 3 and up regularly handle those huge scorpions. They all know what snakes are bad, and if in doubt, usually only once pick up a deadly one. Darwin rocks.

waerth
If snakes don't bother me, I don't bother them. Thais tend to go ballistic and massacre them. Not just Thais, in surinam the saying was: The only good snake is a dead one

Morta
I saw one run over by a truck, they were stopped in the road after just going over it, the thing was about 6 foot long and they were finishing it off dead, then they threw it in the trunk and gestured to me it was lunch.
